MANUAL INSTALLATION
If you want to replace the driver from the online database, or if it's not currently there, you can manually
install the driver. To manually install you will need to first copy the driver on to your Crestron Home
processor. You will first need to make a SFTP connection to the processor, you can do that with software like
Cyberduck or Filezilla. Once you are connected you will need to copy the driver to the
/user/ThirdPartyDrivers/Import folder. With this done you can go back to the Standard Installation steps.
CONTROL
To control a PowerShade device you first need to select the device from the room page. Click on the desired
device and you will be presented with the controls shown below, allowing you to send open, close, and stop
commands and set the position of the shade with the slider.
The following functions of the shades are available to use in sequences. For 2 way feedback, ensure that
each device has been paired and linked.
SET PERCENT
The position of the blind can be set as a percentage anywhere between 100 for fully open and 0 for fully
closed.
OPEN
Sends the blind to 100 percent open.
CLOSE
Sends the blind to 0 percent open.
STOP
Sends the stop command, this will only be effective if the blind is currently moving.
EVENTS
When the blind has been paired and linked to enable feedback, it will send a status to the driver after an
action is complete. The driver can also poll all devices which will regularly request the status. This feedback
can be used to trigger automation when a condition listed below is met.
FULLY OPENED
This event fires when the Shade position changes from a partially opened or closed position to fully opened.
PARTIALLY OPENED
This event fires when the Shade position changes from either closed or fully opened to a partially opened
position.
CLOSED
This event fires when the Shade position changes from either partially opened or fully opened to a closed
position.
LOW BATTERY
This event fires when the Shade reports a battery level lower than the Battery Low-Level value set when
adding the shade to a room.
